Volunteers

Basildon Mind is committed to the principals of equal opportunities and therefore welcome volunteers, regardless of ethnic origin, colour, religion, gender, sexual preference, disability (including mental health problems), age or status in society.

Volunteers are extremely important to us at Basildon Mind. We would be unable to offer the range of services available, without the commitment and dedication given by our volunteers.

There are many ways in which a volunteer can assist at Basildon Mind, below are just a few suggestions:-

Meeting and Greeting new members
Motivating and Encouraging

Help is also needed with the Tea Bar, Sunday Lunch Club, Mini Specialist Library, Setting up and running various groups, Gardening, assisting with Day Trips. The list is endless.

If you have time to spare and would like to become involved at Basildon Mind please call 01268 - 555997 for more information and an application form.

Please note that it is Basildon Mind's policy that all members of staff and volunteers will be required to complete a Criminal Records Check Application Form.
