As part of Mid and South Essex Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP), there are 3 Crisis Sanctuaries; based in Thurrock, Chelmsford and Southend on Sea. The Sanctuary located in Thurrock provides a safe place for individuals from Thurrock, Basildon and Brentwood, experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis. It offers practical and emotional support in a warm, welcoming and friendly environment, operating from Monday to Sunday 10 am – 1am.
Working as a team to ensure all service users receive the practical and emotional support required.
To support service users who are referred (following triage) to the Sanctuary in crisis, and their carers, using a person-centred, strengths-based approach.
14 hours per week, permanent (rota to cover late evenings (until 1am), weekends, bank holidays and outreach support during the day to meet service provision) £11,019 + 5% OLF and attractive shift allowance, the Job Description for this role can be found below.

Healthy Minds is a flexible, accessible, and person-centred community mental health and wellbeing service that promotes early intervention, resilience, and social connection for adults with emerging or non-clinical mental health needs, reducing the risk of escalation and supporting individuals to manage their mental health effectively within their community.

Our Charity Shop is located in the heart of Basildon Town Centre and is open 7 days a week (except Bank Holidays).
Candidates to assist with the day to day responsibility for managing the charity shop and a team of volunteers; working to maximise store profitability.
Zero hours contract, working on a bank basis, covering occasional annual leave and sick leave as and when needed.
